"Hello, I'm Tammy and I'm excited about learning and helping students achieve their academic goals. I'm certified in history and ESL/ELL and I have ten years of experience teaching middle and high school. I tutor U.S. History, World History, Geography, and ESL/ELL. I have a B.A. in Criminal Justice, an M.B.A., and an M.Ed. in Middle Childhood Education.

I use a highly individualized approach with each student. I'm patient and work hard at encouraging my students. I enjoy working with small groups within the classroom, with whole group direct instruction, and with students in my morning study hall who need additional assistance with various concepts and assignments. I also have a year of after-school tutoring in which I worked with students to ensure they would be able to not only master the content but receive the necessary credits to continue to the next grade.
