I'm Meena! If you need help with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, or pre-calculus, you've come to the right person! I love helping students who simply need new, understandable ways of teaching tough concepts. I recently received my bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego, and I've had over 8 years of experience privately tutoring students, mostly high school, in several math subjects. I also worked as an assistant instructor at a learning center where I taught dozens of K-12 students math and reading. I got a 5/5 on the AP Calculus AB Test and a 760/800 on the SAT II Math Subject Test.

As a computer engineer, I've found through my studies and interactions with other students in my field that there are multiple ways to grasp concepts, and people often beat themselves up for not understanding things when it is taught only a certain way. I simply love not only the power of learning, but also learning the way that really works for you. Many things are taught through techniques that confuse and discourage students from learning more and just decrease confidence levels. It's important to teach students a method that suits them because people absorb information differently, and as a tutor, it's truly a pleasure to find the one that fits you. Anyone can do it!!
