"I’m a sophomore at the University of Florida majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics with a 3.9 GPA. I’ve always had a deep love for problem solving and teaching, and over the years I’ve channeled that into tutoring students for standardized tests like the SAT, as well as advanced high school math and computer science. I scored a 1570 on the SAT and a 1500 on the PSAT, earning National Merit Finalist recognition. My test prep sessions are highly personalized, focused on building a student’s confidence and targeting weaknesses through structured review, timed drills, and proven test-taking strategies.
In high school, I led my school’s math competition team as president, where I taught daily lessons, created original practice materials, and helped train students for regional and state-level competitions. I also taught middle school students through the Po-Shen Loh Daily Challenge, a program that focuses on intuitive problem-solving. On top of that, I’ve worked independently as a tutor for SAT, PSAT, and AP exams, with students ranging from middle to high school. I’m very familiar with advanced curriculum pacing and can help students stay ahead or review foundational concepts at their own pace.
My teaching style is patient, strategic, and always tailored to the individual student. I make sure students understand not just what to do, but why it works—whether we're tackling tricky SAT reading questions, reviewing AP Calculus concepts, or diving into competition math puzzles. My goal is to build lasting confidence and curiosity in every student I work with." less...
