"I’m Jwana, an experienced educator and mentor with a passion for helping students grow academically and personally. I hold a Master of Science in Management (Public Relations) from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. I am also certified through the Goodwill Career Coach and Navigator program, which strengthens my ability to support students in building confidence, setting goals, and developing lifelong learning skills.

My six years teaching experience spans K–12 learners through adults, and is primarily volunteer in addition to a paid contract. I have taught in small groups, large classrooms, and mentored in one-on-one settings. I’ve led multiple courses on career growth, writing, goal-setting, and personal development, and I’m skilled at breaking complex concepts into simple, relatable lessons. I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds—including elementary, middle, and high school learners—and I adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s needs. No matter the subject, I focus on creating a patient, encouraging environment where students feel supported and capable.
