"I graduated from Vanderbilt University, where I studied Computer Science and Interdisciplinary Studies, giving me a strong foundation across both STEM and the humanities. I'm an analytical problem-solver and a dedicated writer, so I’m equally comfortable helping with math, science, study skills, English essays, or test prep. I earned a 35 on the ACT and can guide students through strategies, pacing, and practice with confidence. I also speak German, having minored in it and studied abroad in Germany, and can support students in this area as well.

I've been helping younger students for most of my life as the oldest of six brothers, which taught me patience, clarity, and how to adapt explanations to different personalities. I've held several youth-oriented roles, from camp counselor, soccer referee, to theme park attendant; I currently tutor students from 8th through 12th grade, though I’m just as comfortable working with elementary ages. In all these settings, I’ve learned how to understand how a student thinks and meet them where they are.

I’ve worked with students who learn quickly and students who need a slower pace, as well as kids with ADHD and Autism, and I actually enjoy figuring out what makes each student “click.” I try to keep sessions calm, encouraging, and tailored to the way their mind works.
