"I love helping students succeed in science by making complex topics understandable and relevant. I hold a Master of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, and I have taught a variety of courses at the college level, including microbiology, cellular biology, genetics, and anatomy & physiology. I have also taught First-Year Experience courses, which has given me experience supporting freshmen who are just starting college, as well as seniors who want to refine their study habits before pursuing graduate school or professional programs like med school.

My teaching approach focuses on clarity, active learning, and practical strategies. I work one-on-one with students to break down difficult concepts, develop effective study routines, and build confidence in their abilities. Whether it’s reinforcing foundational knowledge, preparing for exams, or optimizing study skills for higher-level courses, I tailor each session to meet the individual student’s needs.
