"With 26 years of experience teaching high school English, I bring a deep passion for literature, writing, and helping students grow into confident, capable communicators and writers. Currently, I teach high school English at a magnet school. I’m National Board Certified in English Language Arts for Adolescents and Young Adults, and I’ve taught a range of courses including AP English Literature & Composition, English 2 Honors, English 2 College Prep, and English 3 CP.

I specialize in helping students master fiction, non-fiction, poetry, grammar and mechanics, and a wide range of writing styles including: literary analysis, personal and college essays, scholarship essays, expository and narrative writing, rhetorical analysis, and persuasive/argument writing.
