"I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a field that relies heavily on mathematics and problem-solving. Throughout my studies, I completed extensive coursework in algebra, calculus, statistics, and data analysis, all of which strengthened both my technical ability and my understanding of how mathematical concepts apply to real situations. Because of this background, I’m able to explain math in a way that feels logical, relatable, and much less intimidating for students who may be struggling.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I helped classmates work through homework and prepare for exams in subjects like Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. In college, I continued tutoring peers in introductory math and economics courses, working both one-on-one and in small groups. Over the years, I’ve developed a patient and conversational approach to teaching. I focus on breaking down skills step-by-step, identifying where a student is getting stuck, and building their confidence through clear explanations and guided practice. I’ve worked with middle school students who needed foundational support, as well as high school students preparing for tests or trying to strengthen their overall math performance.

Because every student learns differently, I tailor my methods to the individual. Some students benefit from visual explanations, others from repetition, and others from real-world examples. My goal in every session is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can move at a pace that works for them.
