"Hello! I’m Paul, and I believe students make the most progress when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to ask questions. I’ve spent 20+ years building a successful career in financial services after earning my MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. In addition to attending Dartmouth, I was also accepted to the Yale School of Management and the UCLA Anderson School of Management—so I know firsthand the challenges of preparing for the GMAT and navigating competitive MBA applications and interviews.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students in many different settings, both formally and informally, in areas such as GMAT preparation, MBA application strategy and interviews, ACT prep, and general tutoring. I specialize in creating a nurturing approach that makes even the most challenging material feel manageable. Test anxiety is real, and my goal is to create a positive atmosphere where students can build both skills and confidence.

I scored a 700 on the GMAT (93rd percentile in 2006) and a 28 on the ACT (91st percentile in 1996). For the GMAT, I have helped students scoring in the 500s on the GMAT reach the high 600s. On the ACT, I specialize in helping students currently scoring in the teens work towards a score in the upper 20s to 30. MBA applicants have been accepted to schools such as the McCombs School at UT-Austin.

I conduct online sessions only and offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss goals, scheduling, and learning style. I ask that any cancellations be made with at least 2 hours notice. I am approachable, reliable, and genuinely invested in my students’ success.
