"I thoroughly enjoy tutoring. My experience with teaching began when I was 17 as a supervisor of exceptional children. Because I have a Journalism degree from Southern Connecticut State University, K to 12 and English credentials from Rutgers University and Special Education credentials from The College of New Jersey, my education and English skills are at a high level. I am seen and work as a seasoned teacher. I taught in classrooms of every age and elementary and English need. I teach with adaptability. My kind and patient manner are the keys to students' gaining confidence. I instilled confidence in every student whom I have taught. This includes all elementary, anything to do with English and ESOL. A wide variety of people come to me, and told me that they learn more from me than in the classroom. So, I have reliable and positive references. Children and adults attest that grades have improved, awards have been won and skills have been mastered because of my teaching. Students in college raised their grades. Students in high school and below write well and perform 3 times better on standardized tests. I communicate the concepts by concretely explaining them in a simple way. I taught writing by asking questions that prompt thoughts. A student can't be wrong in my class. There is no doubt that students become positive by my compliments and praises. I have many success stories as a result of teaching this way. It is about the individual and his/her thoughts and current level. Each lesson plan is tailored to each person. As a result, students improve. I improved the English language in people who come from other countries. Why does all of this work? It is because I am good hearted and I give everything I have to my students. I have a plethora of materials to use, which are free of charge. I am available anytime for questions or concerns. I give extra time for free, if I don't have a session directly afterwards.
