"I recently graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, CA with a bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics (3.95 GPA). I have a deep love and passion for teaching, recently moved to Albuquerque, and can tutor students both in person and online. Next fall, I will begin a PhD in Physics, but for now I am focused on tutoring and helping students to understand their coursework on a deep level.

I have over three years of tutoring experience and have worked with a wide variety of students at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. This includes serving as the sole student mentor for upper-division Quantum Mechanics and Thermodynamics, as well as tutoring middle and high school students across multiple math subjects (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Calculus). I also enjoy working with younger children, and served as an assistant preschool teacher while in high school.

My tutoring philosophy focuses on connecting with each student as a person and adapting to their ideal learning style. I firmly believe that everyone can study math and physics at a high level, and that struggling with these subjects usually reflects a mismatch in teaching approach—not a lack of ability. I also love to share my personal passion for math and physics with my students and help them to see the natural beauty in the subjects.
