"Hello! With over two decades of classroom experience and a passion for helping students succeed, I specialize in general high/middle school science courses and middle school math. My science teaching background includes biology, chemistry, earth and space science, zoology, and environmental science, along with 10 years of experience teaching middle school math, including one year of Cambridge Lower Secondary stage 9. I’ve also coached competitive MathCounts teams, guiding students in advanced problem-solving and teamwork.

While teaching in the classroom, I also taught with Florida virtual school for five years. I guided 15 - 20 students individually through their coursework, meeting virtually to review topics, coursework, and exam answers, keeping each student organized and on track to finish each semester on time. Throughout my teaching career I have also tutored students outside of the classroom in a variety of STEM topics.

I hold a B.A. in Biological Science from Smith College, with additional coursework at Vassar College, and a Master of Science in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University.
