I have over 8 years of experience tutoring, specializing in High School and College Chemistry, as well as Algebra and Engineering coursework. I am a U.S. Naval Academy graduate (B.S. Mechanical Engineering), an active duty Submarine Officer, and I hold a Master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.

I know firsthand how overwhelming these courses can feel. My teaching style focuses on clarity, efficiency, and confidence building. As a Submarine Officer, I work with complex systems every day, and I’ve learned that even the hardest problems become manageable when they are broken down into clear, logical steps. Whether you are balancing chemical equations or working through functions, we will take it one step at a time until it clicks.

I structure each lesson to remove anxiety and maximize learning. I use a digital whiteboard (OneNote) so problems are clearly visualized, and I encourage students to send homework, practice tests, or topics in advance. I review these materials beforehand so we can dive straight into problem solving, rather than wasting time figuring out what to do.

You can focus on understanding rather than frantic note taking. After every session, I provide a full PDF export of our notes and a video recording of the lesson, giving you a complete reference to study from later.
