"Math doesn’t have to be intimidating, sometimes all it takes is knowing how to best break things into smaller, achievable steps. I partner with students to build confidence and skills in identifying math’s repeatable patterns. My students describe me as patient, kind, and responsive. I take time to understand where they’re getting stuck and find creative ways to reframe ideas until they make sense.

I earned degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and spent several years tutoring in the Math department throughout my undergraduate degree. Later, my career took me to IBM and Google as a Product Designer—fields where systematic and structured thinking (the same kind used in math!) is essential. As a parent of college students, I’ve also supported my own kids to excel at high-school and college math.

I work with middle school, high school, and entry level college students in Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Whether it’s working through homework, having a short check-in around a tough concept, or preparing for that big test, I am here to help students achieve their Mathematic goals.
