"Hi, my name is Howard, and I enjoy helping students succeed in their math and science classes. I started tutoring professionally in 2010 while completing my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida and graduated magna cum laude in 2012.

When I first meet with students, I diagnose the concepts they don't understand and the stumbling blocks in their problem-solving process. After understanding their needs more fully, I then explain the math or science concepts by relating them to something the students already understand from their background knowledge in other subjects. By using their background knowledge, this facilitates quicker understanding.
