"I graduated magna cum laude at the University of Georgia with a degree in Education and a minor in Mathematics and Language Arts. I am state certified kindergarten through 12th grade as well as certified through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). I previously taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 7th - 12 the grade math (basic math, pre algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, pre calculus, college algebra) reading, literature, history, art, and drawing at a Christian Academy and a homeschool college prep program. I am also certified in Autism through the Wisconsin Autism Project.

I have over 25 years experience in tutoring elementary through college. I homeschooled students for over 9 years and helped students get into certain colleges of their choice. My greatest desire and love of tutoring is helping make sense of something students completely do not understand. I have found that many students lose their sense of self worth and confidence when they struggle in their studies. This has always broke my heart. I believe the Lord has given me heart for helping these students. I know not all students learn the same. I have a difficult approach to each concept to help accommodate all learning styles and personalities. My desire is for students to truly understand the “why” and “how” of difficult concepts. I want them to learn to believe in themselves and realize that their entire identity doesn’t lie in academics but that they can excel when they are a taught in a manner that fits them.
