"Hi, I’m Ms. Lewis! I’m a certified elementary teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching math to 2nd–6th grade students. I’ve taught in both Houston and Washington, DC, and each year I also tutor students one-on-one and in small group sessions to provide the kind of focused, personalized support that helps them truly thrive.

I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year in 2017, and over the years I’ve been consistently recognized for growing students’ math achievement rapidly through engaging, creative, and confidence-boosting instruction. One of my favorite things to hear is, “I didn’t like math before, but now I love it!” That’s the transformation I strive for.
