"Hello! My name is Simon. I hold a Ph.D. in experimental physics from the University of Maryland, and I followed this with a postdoc in physics at Caltech. Currently, I'm teaching as an Adjunct Physics Instructor at the College of the Canyons, and previously, I worked as a GAEL Tutor at the Dublin (CA) High School.

I want to take my experience of working with math and physics every day, and translate that into useful lessons for you. My goal and pride is to see the light of understanding in each student’s face. My style is to be patient, and ask lots of questions to make sure concepts are clear. If a missing concept is holding you back, we will find out what it is and explore it clearly before moving on. I want to teach the principles behind the material, so you can confidently handle related problems in the future.
