"I'm Tara! My students call me Miss Tara. I have a Master's degree in Special Education plus 21 additional credits currently. I am in my 8th year as a Special Education Teacher. I have taught students in grades K-5 but have the most experience with pre-k through first grade skills. All of my 8 years have been in an autistic support classroom (self-contained). I spend the majority of my time doing direct 1:1 or small group instruction with students who are behind grade level. I seek to make learning fun, and love to see the progress my students make. Prior to be being a teacher I worked as a Behavior Specialist. I have a total of 12 years experience in the special education field.
I can provide support with filling in gaps in early literacy skills. I’ll do a quick assessment to identify areas of need and use our session to target those skills. Send me a message and we can discuss if I am a good fit for your needs." less...
