"I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University, pursuing my Master of Social Work, and I bring both academic training and hands-on experience to my tutoring. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Finance and Psychology from Baruch College, which gave me a strong foundation in research, writing, and critical thinking.

From 2021 to 2023, I served as an AmeriCorps member with Reading Partners, where I worked one-on-one with elementary school students to strengthen their reading and writing skills. Through structured lessons and individualized support, I helped students improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence. I’ve also supported classrooms in the NYC Department of Education, assisting teachers and leading small groups, including English language learners and students with IEPs.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students feel capable and motivated. I adapt my approach to fit each learner’s needs, blending guided practice, interactive activities, and encouragement to keep sessions engaging and effective. While my primary experience has been with elementary students, I have also supported middle school students with literacy, writing, and study skills.
