"I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis on Public Speaking, with a Japanese language minor. I graduated cum laude, made the Dean's List and was invited to join Phi Beta Kappa. I worked for two years at the University of Washing I also have a certificate in Voice Acting.

I worked as a Residential Life Advisor at The Northwest School's international dormitory for 9 years, and was a substitute teacher there for 4 years. I worked with students from over 10 different countries, from grades 6 to 12. I did one-on-one tutoring with dorm students and would supervise study hall.

When working one-on-one with a student, my strength is in finding many different explanations from different angles, and helping students connect ideas back together into a holistic understanding of the underlying systems in whatever we may be studying.
