I have 9 years of experience speaking Spanish and was a peer-to-peer tutor for Spanish and French at my university. I have also studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I have 3 years of experience speaking French and studied abroad in La Rochelle, France in Fall 2022. While in France, I passed the DELF exam at the B2 level.

As a tutor, I’ve tutored both individually and in groups. My methods involve using worksheets and both guided and independent exercises to reinforce the material we cover. I also show the student how to use helpful resources, such as conjugation trainers and Quizlet sets, in the way that will best benefit them.

For speaking practice, I try to create a stress-free, comfortable environment by reminding the student that practice doesn't have to be perfect to be beneficial. I adapt a topic according to the student's needs, interests, and comfort level.
