"Hi--I'm Anna! I scored a perfect 1600 on my SAT in 2020, so I've been through the SAT grind and want to help you get through it as effortlessly as possible! I've been a tutor for over a decade, and I have an educational YouTube channel where I share all of my advice on the SAT and college preparation with students. I've successfully tutored many students to increase 100+ points within less than a month with my techniques. I've worked with students from 9-17 years old, so I have experience with matching learning styles and making sure my students get what they are looking for out of our tutoring sessions. I'm flexible on how we structure our sessions, but typically we'll work on practice questions together and I'll go through my thought processes on each one after you walk me through your reasoning. This helps us both target your weakest (and most uncomfortable!) subjects in a low-stress way. I also enjoy preparing lessons for sub-categories within the SAT if needed, working on time management issues, or managing test anxiety, as I've had experience with all of those in my own test-prep journey in the past! I have also had experience working with students with disabilities, and strive to be inclusive, warm, and relatable through my tutoring style.

I recently graduated summa cum laude with my bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and am currently pursuing my PhD in Chemical Engineering at UC Berkeley. I was an instructional aide for three years at UMich, so I have extensive experience crafting weekly lessons and hosting office hours in difficult college-level subjects. I've taught an Introduction to Engineering section and Mass and Heat Transfer, so I am particularly experienced in those subjects.
