"Spanish has always been a part of my life, both culturally and personally. I come from a Latino background and speak Spanish fluently, using it daily with family, in my community, and in my role as a Bible study teacher. While I may not have formal tutoring experience yet, I’ve spent years teaching and communicating with groups, helping others learn through patience, encouragement, and clarity. These experiences have shaped my ability to explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand and practical to apply.

What sets my teaching approach apart is that I focus not only on formal Spanish such as grammar and vocabulary but also on the conversational Spanish you hear every day from native speakers across Latin America. This offers students an experience beyond what’s often taught in traditional classrooms, which tends to focus on European or “Spaniard” Spanish. I want my students to be able to confidently hold a conversation with a native speaker in real-life settings, whether they’re speaking with friends, coworkers, or community members.

I aim to create a welcoming environment where students of all ages and levels feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and even making mistakes because that’s how real learning happens.
