"I am a certified teacher with a strong background in supporting diverse learners. I hold a Master's degree in education with additional certification in special education, general education and literacy. Over the years, I have worked with students of varying abilities and learning styles, helping them strengthen foundational skills in reading, writing, and executive functioning. My teaching philosophy centers around patience, structure, and creativity—meeting each student where they are and helping them build confidence and independence through individualized instruction.
I have over 4 years of teaching and tutoring experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. In my classroom, I have designed and implemented differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with IEPs, learning disabilities, and ADHD, as well as those needing enrichment. As a tutor, I focus on developing strategies that promote comprehension, organization, and self-monitoring, often incorporating multi-sensory techniques and real-life connections to keep students engaged. I take pride in fostering a supportive environment where learners feel seen, capable, and motivated to achieve their goals.
My approach blends evidence-based practices with empathy and adaptability. I tailor my lessons to fit each learner’s strengths and challenges. I am passionate about helping students discover their potential, and I look forward to bringing my experience, certification, and enthusiasm to help students succeed." less...
