"I am a former high school mathematics teacher! I have dedicated the last 20 years to the teaching and learning of mathematics at the secondary and post-secondary levels. I begin my tutoring journey in the dorms at college. I formalized my tutoring experience immediately after graduate school. During my first year of teaching, I was Miss MATH in the evenings helping many families in Central Florida Communities. I have taught at the middle school, high school and college level. I have just earned my doctorate in mathematics education and relocated to the Dallas-area.

As an educator, I enjoy instilling confidence and motivating all of my students. Students who begin to feel like they are able to understand and achieve in mathematics begin to focus more on the content and internalize the rules and skills necessary for success.
