"Hi there! My name is Erin and I specialize in teaching pharmacology.

I am a clinical pharmacist and obtained my PharmD degree from UNC Chapel Hill, and subsequently completed a PGY-1 residency. I have always considered myself a lifelong learner and believe one of the best ways to accomplish this is through teaching others. I serve as a preceptor, educator, and mentor for pharmacy students and I most enjoy seeing my students’ confidence and knowledge base grow during their time with me.

As a clinical pharmacist, I LOVE being an expert in the therapeutic use of medications. I have extensive knowledge of the application of evidence-based therapeutic guidelines and how to work through medical cases to optimize patient outcomes. Learning about pharmacology can be overwhelming because it feels like learning a new language with the complex medical jargon and tricky drug names. As a seasoned educator, I can help break down these complex concepts and give you tips on learning them and making them stick!
