"Hi! My name is Diana, and I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and succeed in biology and beyond. I hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in Biology, and I’ve taught a wide range of subjects including Anatomy & Physiology, Ecology, and Animal Behavior as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor for college-level courses. I was honored to receive an Outstanding Instructional Assistant Award in recognition of my teaching efforts.

In addition to my college-level teaching experience, I’ve also worked extensively with younger learners. I’ve tutored elementary-aged students in math, science, and reading, both locally and abroad, including in the Dominican Republic. I offer tutoring in general biology, anatomy, statistics, and math for students at all levels.

With years of experience working with students from elementary school through college, I understand that every learner is different. During our first session, I’ll assess your strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style so we can create a personalized approach that works best for you, whether that’s homework help, test prep, or getting ahead of the subject matter you are learning. I also bring science-backed strategies to improve your focus, attention, creativity, and productivity. My goal is to make complex topics easier to understand and help you stay motivated along the way.
