"I am a lifelong student who has always excelled in school from a young age. I jumped straight into my undergraduate studies after high school at UC San Diego where I double Majored in Psychology and Film and Television Studies. I graduated with honors and received a certificate of excellence for my undergraduate thesis. I then chose to pursue a Master degree in Media Studies in Montreal, Canada at the University of Concordia. I immediately followed up the completion of that program with starting a PhD program at UC San Diego. I have recently advanced to candidacy in the Communication Studies program and am now working on my dissertation project which is invested in the generational after lives of labor.

I have been a Teaching Assistant for the past 5 years, leading groups of 20+ undergraduate students in small group discussion settings. My responsibilities has ranged from small lectures, one-on-one tutoring sessions during office hours, editing and grading student essays, as well as various administrating duties that have required timeliness and professionalism. I really value teaching and helping student maneuver the sometimes daunting landscape of the University, I believe that it is my duty as someone more experienced to help those who are new to the environment.
