I am a PhD Candidate in History at the University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Berkeley, I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities, earning a Bachelor's degree in History with honors. While I specialize in the history of the Soviet Union, I have expertise in American history, world history, European history, and economics.

As a first-generation college student, I always admired teachers and professors who could convey complex information clearly and respectfully to students from diverse backgrounds. I bring this approach to my own tutoring, having worked with a wide variety of students, ranging from 8th graders to advanced undergraduates. I approach each student as a unique individual, designing lesson plans based on their personal goals and desired outcomes. I am happy to work on standardized test preparation (ACT, SAT, GRE), A.P. test preparation (United States history, European History, World History, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics), writing skills, and college applications.
