"Hi, I'm Donnie. I'm a PhD chemist from UC Berkeley with a passion for making complex subjects feel approachable and clear. My goal is to help students build a deep, fundamental understanding so they can solve problems with confidence and curiosity. With perfect scores on the quantitative sections of the SAT and GRE, I also specialize in effective test preparation.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe in guiding students to a grounded understanding of the fundamentals so they can creatively solve new challenges, not just memorize steps. I use analogies and real-world examples to make complex concepts click, and I always personalize my strategy to each student's unique way of thinking. Beyond the course material, I also mentor students in study skills, test-taking strategies, and time management.
