"Hi, I'm Julia! I have a PhD in English and nine years of teaching at the university level. I've taught composition, Shakespeare, and British Literature in small classroom settings at major state universities. I have regularly and successfully taught the fundamentals of college writing and am passionate about helping students succeed in these courses. In my writing classes, I like to stay up to date by incorporating multimedia including podcasting and video essays and can teach and tutor students in most basic podcasting and video essay techniques and technologies. I also have extensive experience in one-on-one tutoring with my students, in both my writing and literature courses. In addition to tutoring writing, I would love to help students in their Shakespeare and British Literature courses both in content and in writing.
