I earned my PhD in Microbiology with a Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology from UC Davis. At UC Davis, I was a teaching assistant for the introduction to biology, general microbiology, and food microbiology courses. I am currently a full-time medical writer.

Subjects I tutor for all levels (elementary, high school, and college):

-Science subjects: basic science, biology, chemistry, microbiology, bacteriology, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, and virology

-Math subjects: arithmetic, algebra 1, algebra 2, business finance, GRE math, and CSET math.

-I am also available to help with college application essays, personal statements, or diversity statements.

I am dedicated to strengthening my students' scientific knowledge and improving their test scores. I believe successful tutoring is built on a foundation of respect, diligence, and reliability. I strive to provide my students with quality tutoring sessions by tailoring each lesson to the individual's needs. Most of my students prefer Q&A or quiz/test review. I can also proofread/critique lab reports, review homework, and provide "mini lectures" with worksheets - whatever you need to succeed in your class!

Currently, I only accept students who can meet at my location. I hold lessons at coffee shops in Vacaville, CA, and do not provide tutoring at my students' or my own home. I offer online tutoring at a discount.
