"I hold a PhD in Statistics and specialize in tutoring probability, statistics, and advanced statistical theory. After completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued additional coursework in data science at Columbia University in the City of New York before returning to my home in Nebraska to complete my doctoral training in Statistics.

I have several years of experience teaching and tutoring mathematics and statistics across a wide range of levels. As an undergraduate, I worked as a resource center counselor, in-class learning assistant, honors teaching assistant for Calculus II, and advanced grader for Real Analysis and Modern Algebra. I have also worked extensively with high school students and graduating seniors, including those completing final math requirements in preparation for college or graduate study.

In addition, I tutor a broad range of related subjects, including the Quantitative sections of the GRE, SAT, and ACT; SAT I and SAT II Math subject tests; SSAT and ISEE; and university-level mathematics courses such as Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Real and Complex Analysis, Group Theory, Abstract and Modern Algebra, Topology, and Measure Theory. Statistics topics include Mathematical and Computational Statistics, Experimental Design, ANOVA, Bayesian Methods, Linear and Generalized Linear Models, Generalized Linear Mixed Models (GLMMs), Multivariable Regression, Factor Analysis and PCA, Nonparametric Statistics, and Asymptotic Theory.

My goal is to make challenging material feel manageable by building intuition first and then connecting it to formal definitions and techniques. Sessions are tailored to each student’s background and goals, and I am happy to work directly from specific textbooks, homework sets, or exam-prep materials. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson and I'll be in touch right away!" less...
