"I am Ana S., holding a PhD in Neuroscience, along with an MS in Biotechnology and a BS in Biochemistry. I have been conducting my postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School and Northeastern University for more than 5 years, with strong background in biological sciences.

My teaching journey spans over 10 years, during which I've had the privilege of educating students ranging from middle school to PhD levels across diverse settings. My roles have included being a tutor in a tutoring center, supporting students from 5th grade to college in various science subjects; a Teaching Assistant at the University for undergraduate students, focusing on biology and biochemistry; and a mentor and supervisor for BS/MS/PhD-level students in neuroscience, pharmacology, and laboratory contexts.

My approach to teaching is student-centered, focusing on understanding students’ goals and challenges, and highlighting the importance of critical thinking and practical application of scientific concepts. I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, ensuring interactive learning and hands-on experiences. My goal is to connect theoretical knowledge with its real-world applications, especially integrating Biology, Chemistry and Biotechnology. My expertise in cell biology, anatomy, disease models and mechanisms and metabolic pathways equips me with a rich knowledge base to share with my students.
