"I hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Motivated by a deep and enduring passion for data-driven problem-solving, I intentionally pursued a Ph.D. minor in Statistics through UW–Madison’s Department of Statistics. This combination strengthened my ability to approach complex engineering challenges with analytical precision. To further broaden my perspective, I also completed a graduate certificate in Business, Environmental, and Social Responsibility (BESR) from the Wisconsin School of Business, reflecting my commitment to integrating sustainability, ethics, and strategic thinking into the built environment. As an undergraduate, I ranked 5th out of 304 students and graduated with the highest honors in Civil Engineering. During graduate school, I maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.96/4.0.

I am currently working as a professional engineer, but prior to this, I spent over 9 years in academia—5 years as a graduate student and 4 years as a professor—teaching a variety of civil engineering and construction management courses at the college level.
