"Hello!

My name is Alex, and after retiring early from executive engineering management I now thoroughly enjoy tutoring math, science, and English at all levels. In addition to private tutoring, I have worked part time at various teaching centers in MI and most recently at Tampa Bay International School in FL. I specialize in teaching learning and time management strategies for general studying and for optimizing ACT, SAT, GRE, TOEFL, and other tests. I also provide assistance with resume writing, editing of professional texts/essays, dissertation writing, technical reviews, etc.

My background is in theoretical physics and applied engineering, where I hold Master's, Civil Engineering, and Doctorate degrees, and I am well-published in areas of condensed matter materials science and surface/interface engineering.

I was born and raised in Sweden and have lived in the US half my life now, am multi-lingual, and have traveled the world extensively experiencing many different cultures and languages. I am an Air Force veteran and enjoy playing soccer, tennis, volleyball, and reading.
