"I am a current PhD student in clinical psychology at SDSU/UCSD and a graduate of the University of Chicago with honors. I have been a tutor since high school, and I love helping students strengthen their essays and improve their test-taking skills. When I was in high school, I needed to improve my SAT scores in order to get into the institutions on my list. Having personally experienced the challenge of getting my score up, I enjoy empowering students to use test-taking tools that help them feel more confident. My skills in SAT tutoring also apply to the ACT, the ISEE, and the PSAT. I have helped students achieve higher scores on both the math section and evidence-based reading/writing section. I can provide tools for a variety of learning styles and needs, and I would look forward to conveying the tools I've learned to best support the student.

I recently took the GRE general test and scored a 167 (98th percentile) on Verbal Reasoning, 161 on Quantitative Reasoning (76th percentile), and 5.5 (98th percentile) on Writing. I scored an 800 (98th percentile) on the GRE psychology test. I feel confident tutoring in these areas, having used multiple successful strategies to achieve my score.
