My name is Carter, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in English at SUNY Buffalo while teaching college writing courses and offering virtual tutoring sessions. In 2017, I graduated summa cum laude with a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Memphis. It was there that I first discovered my passion for education when a few of my friends and I founded the university's first writing center operated entirely by undergraduate students. Since then, I have made it my life's work to help others discover and develop their own unique voices as writers.

I offer my services to any students seeking assistance in the areas of academic writing, literary analysis, and argumentation. No matter where you are academically and no matter where you are in the writing process, our tutoring sessions will provide an engaging and supportive learning environment that empowers you to compose creative, nuanced, and worthwhile essays.
