"Originally from Florence, Italy, I am a designer with 20 years experience in the field. I work in the fashion industry as an apparel designer, but I also have worked as a graphic designer, an illustrator, and a retoucher. I am that one in the office who also takes care of prints, catalogues, textile repeats, and social media design, in addition to my regular duties.

I can also assist wanna-be designers and start-ups how to effectively go about in forming and managing a fashion company, including product development and sourcing, fabric knowledge, construction, and overall fashion-industry tips.

FASHION DESIGN:

If you want to become fluent as a fashion designer, I will outline all the process for you, from how to create a mood board to how to put together a collection. Some of the material covered in class includes:

GRAPHIC DESIGN / RETOUCHING:

I can easily teach all levels of students all the tricks of the trade, I will cover how to work with an array of projects and files. I will teach how to work with layers, channels, paths, actions, history, mask, retouch, illustrations, logo creations, presentations, graphic and pattern repeats, color correction and use of effects and filters. Whether you are a photography aficionado or you want to jump back and forth between Illustrator and Photoshop in your design or school endeavors, I can help you.

If you don't have the material I can provide the software during class, all you need is notes and a willingness to learn. I always give homework, so you practice at home what you learn in class, and I will review your exercises every time, until you become a pro.
