"I have been a nationally certified, clinically employed PA since 1985, starting at Kings County MC in Brooklyn.

I became a full time public HS teacher thru NJ's 'alternate route' program in Sept 1991, and worked continuously in the same school for 31 yrs, retiring in June of 2022. My 'specialty' was Anatomy & Physiology, essentially taught at a junior college level.

Throughout my teaching career, I continued to work part time/per diem work in the ER as a PA, working at (3) University affiliated hospitals in NY and NJ. This continues to the present, albeit at a lower frequency.

My goal is to focus on HS and college students entering healthcare careers, as this would dovetail nicely with my dual careers." less...
