"Helping students physical and occupational therapy students understand Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology is a passion of mine. I graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from SUNY Stony Brook in 1997, which was followed by completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2003. I am presently a faculty member for Carolinas Rehabilitation's Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. I completed my OCS (Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics) in 2012. In 2015, I became a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Specialist (Dry Needling).

I have 25+ years of clinical experience, served as guest lecturer for Universities, and over 12 years of experience teaching and mentoring physical therapy residents. I use props and diagrams to help students understand how the body moves and works, while guiding them to problem solve and improve their clinical reasoning skills. Providing clinical examples also helps students relate what they are learning in class to the health care world.

I currently offering tutoring services to Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Occupational Therapy Assistant Students in Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology. I can also assist with Orthopedic classes and may be able to help with other PT classes. In addition to tutoring, I can also offer Job interview preparation, residency interview preparation, PT/PTA licensing exam, and orthopedic clinical specialty exam preparation.
