"I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Wayne State University in Anthropology. In graduate school, I focused on medical anthropology. I completed various research projects including one at Children's Hospital of Michigan observing one of the specialty clinics.

After finishing my graduate work in Anthropology, I went on to complete a second Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. While I am trained as a healthcare provider, I have a passion for anthropology and continuing research.

Because I have two degrees in anthropology, I have completed a great deal of college coursework. I also have experience in research, so I can easily show how the field can be applied in real life.
