"I am currently a pediatric resident physician at ECU Health Medical Center, located in my hometown of Greenville, NC. I graduated from medical school in 2024 at the Brody School of Medicine at ECU. Prior to my medical education, I worked as a Software Engineer at Capital One Financial. I graduated from NC State University with a Masters in Physiology and Biotechnology in 2019. In 2018, I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill as an undergraduate Morehead-Cain Scholar majoring in Quantitative Biology and minoring in Computer Science and Chemistry.

I am proficient in many introductory-level science and math classes (such as calculus and chemistry). I am also proficient in numerous humanities and English classes, especially government and politics. I am skilled in programming in Java, Matlab, and Python, and am in the process of learning additional programming languages. Finally, I am skilled at numerous random skills such as chess, Mario Kart, and poker.

Outside of the classroom, my hobbies consist of running, pickleball, and going to concerts. I am also heavily involved in volunteering with individuals with special needs and I have volunteered weekly with Special Olympics since 2012.

My tutoring methods are simple. First, I recommend that each tutee bring any supplies, materials, and questions they have for their course. I will also utilize numerous online resources as well to aid the instruction. Finally, I enjoy getting to know every student I tutor because I feel that aids in helping the tutee learn the material from me more effectively. From past tutoring experiences, I have been able to relate to the tutee on some other topic unrelated to the tutoring subject at hand.
