"I'm Jerry! I'm a family medicine resident physician. I'm a 2023 MD graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School Medicine. I've also successfully passed both of my medical school board exams with scores in the top 40% in the country. I enjoy taking difficult concepts and simplifying them down to their more elementary parts. I believe that the foundation of memorization is understanding so I like to focus on understanding and then when needed provide tools to aid in memorization. I'm also happy to assist in creating study plans/ schedules. If you don't know what to do or where to start with your learning, I'm here to brain storm with you and come up with a plan!

All of us learn at different paces and therefore the learning process should never be rushed! With a little hard work and some solid coaching I believe everyone is capable of achieving their learning goals.

I've taken advanced biology courses in the process of attaining my bachelor of science in neurobiology. I've also completed all my preclinical courses in medical school which dove even deeper into advanced anatomy, biology and physiology. I've been made to teach advanced concepts to patients (including kids) and their families with limited science background. I will be patient, supportive and thorough in my teaching of these topics until you feel comfortable with subject the matter and ready for any assessments!
