I believe in authentication of experience. In other words, I believe that all subject matter should be relatable to everyday life situations, or students just don't care. Physics and mathematics have intimidating stigmas associated with them, but in reality, we all understand physical and mathematical principals on some fundamental level. The key is framing them in a way that the individual can relate to in his everyday life. I love tutoring because it provides the opportunity for me to cater to the specific needs, and styles of thinking of the student.
I am experienced at breaking down these very complex and seemingly daunting problems into simple solutions. The greatest reward for me is when a student is able to check his answer, not mathematically but logistically. Does this answer make sense? Is it a reasonable figure? This material can be more than crunching numbers and memorizing equations. It is my personal mission to make a field that I love, more appealing and approachable.
I am very flexible on hours and meeting locations, and just in general. I can't wait to get started!" less...
