"Hi, my name is Charles: Charlie, I graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. I've also completed my teaching credential in California and Arizona and did some graduate work in Astrophysics. I have worked both as a classroom teacher and field Engineer. I also enjoy teaching and have taught for over 35 years at a private boarding preparatory school in Santa Barbara CA. At Cate School I have taught everything from basic freshman physics through AP physics, Engineering and Astronomy . I have also been the Varsity Water Polo coach for a program I started in 1987. I love teaching Physics because it gives me the opportunity to introduce students to the basics of the universe.

I decided to tutor after retiring from the classroom because it is my hope that I can pass on my joy of learning to others. I have been tutoring for several years on different platforms, so I'm experienced in being able to work through a variety of problems on in a variety of different ways.
