"Hi, I'm Robin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in math from the University of Akron. I also have 5 years of graduate work in Optical Sciences in the College of Optical Sciences, at the University of Arizona. I have several years of teaching experience, both in a one-on-one setting as a tutor for high school and college students, and in a classroom setting teaching college level math, optics, and physics as a teaching assistant. I also have experience working in optics at NASA and universities and working in applying physics to aerospace projects in industry.

My teaching is focused on the student's unique needs, and I like to use real world examples to bring a more clear understanding of theories and principles of optics, physics, and math to my students. I want my students to not only understand what they're reading and solving but to also be able to visualize what the subject matter is telling them and to understand why that subject matter is important and useful.

I'm available to tutor in person as well as online via Wyzant's Online Tutoring platform, and I'm available most hours of the day and night.
