"I got my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Caltech where I am a research scholar now. My passion and interest in teaching stem from the satisfaction gained by helping students explore a new subject, and watching them grow towards mastery. I am patient about math and physics and always looking for new ways to convey the concepts easier. I also focus on problem-solving skills which are necessary for both passing a course with good grades and using it later in a professional carrier. I have served as the TA for 13 classes, and for most of them, I was entrusted with the task of designing parts of the homework, elucidating the parts that students had problems understanding, as well as teaching parts of the course that were considered supplemental to the lecture. During my Ph.D. studies, I served as a mentor for 30 undergraduate students for two years, as well as 20 graduate students for one year. I also worked as a tutor with many many students over the years, shared my knowledge, and helped them find the way which is best for them to handle the subjects.

Math is a subject that can be looked at and learned from different angles. If it is done correctly, it would be super easy to solve the problems. My long experience over the years thought me the different ways that the students facing the subject for the first time might think and the potential confusions that can happen. I also have a great toolset of various kinds of problems that can be given for every subject. Collectively, all these experiences helped me be a good tutor to my tutees.
