"I'm Christian! I graduated from undergraduate Summa Cum Laude with an Honors Physics and Mathematics double major. I also received a Masters in Physics and am currently pursuing a PhD in Physics. I specialize in teaching and tutoring in upper level high school and college level topics such as Calculus, Physics 1, and Physics 2. My goal in these areas is teach students to develop their own skills in recognizing how to solve various problems. when asked about a certain topic I like to begin with demonstrating how do certain types of exercises, then moving to letting the student attempt similar things, and progressing in this manner until they can consistently work through that topic on their own.

I have been tutoring in both physics and math for over 6 years now, beginning in my time as an undergraduate student where I spent some time doing 1-on-1 tutoring and other times running study labs where groups of students would join to study material and ask questions. In my time there, many students shared how their grades improved through their time in those sessions. I have continued to do 1-on-1 tutoring during graduate school- partially as part of my job in the program and partially for private tutoring. I also taught physics labs at my school for the past 5 years where I managed the experiments the students were running and graded their lab reports. I now lecture university level classes for Physics I and Physics II.

I ask that before each meeting, students send me some of the questions and material we will be going over, so that I can most effectively prepare for the session. If you need to cancel a meeting, I would ask that you try to give at least an hour notice.
